The call for Personal Care Assistants is rising fast and a significant future awaits those with empathy for people requiring assistance and an understanding of what it takes to maintain their well-being and independence.
The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) allows people to work as a Personal Care Assistant, looking after people with a disability and older people in a residential and community care setting. You will have ongoing support and supervision during the course by passionate and knowledgeable trainers. With facility based training, this qualification will enable you to enter the Aged Care and Disability industries as a confident and compassionate carer.

When completing this qualification, there is an option to also complete CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

Training is conducted face to face either as One to one training or in a classroom, or through a Traineeship.’

120 hours practical placement is required.
