This qualification will enable you to become an early childhood educator able to work in long day care centres, out of school care, family day care, pre-schools or kindergartens . As an early childhood educator, you will support children’s wellbeing, contribute to planning for and providing educational experiences and care for infants & young children.

Educators are supported to use organisational policies, procedures, and individual children’s profiles to plan educational experiences, provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play, and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.

This qualification supports understanding and implementing all aspects of the National Quality Framework, including application of the ‘Early Years Learning’ Framework and/or the ‘My Time Our Place’.

To complete this qualification, learners must complete at least 160 hours of work in a regulated children’s education and care service.

Graduates will gain the minimum qualification to be able to work in the regulated early years service.

Training will be face to face either through a Traineeship, or one-on-one in Wodonga.
